Kline Technical Consulting Accomplishments
- KTC Personnel delivered on a five year contract for a Worldwide Military Command and Control System involving security and telecommunications valued at $295 million.
- KTC built a single screen emulator/artificial intelligence engine for a wide variety of gas turbine electric generators totaling $1 million.
- KTC deployed a proof of concept (POC) security system for the Indian Ministry of Railways with a contract value of $4.2 million.
- Developed the FBI Forensics Inspection System valued at $600K and delivered seven (7) Advanced Explosives Detection Systems for the US Department of Defense in its first contract year totaling $2.3 million.
- KTC has delivered physical security portals (mantraps) to Department of Energy facilities as well as to the Department of Homeland Security totaling $1.25 million in 2010–11.
- KTC, under a contract to USTA, conducted a two-level port security assessment and created specifications and solicitation documents to ensure that Sokhna Port in Egypt met all US and international security requirements.
- KTC members have served on engineering design, build and launch of IC, battery, munitions, hard coatings (PVD, CVD, PCVD) and electronics plants in USA, France, Israel, Germany, Taiwan, India and Korea; SCADA systems for monitoring electricity generation and transport (Iraq), and pipeline and turbines for gas transport in Eastern Europe and Russia.
- KTC members have led the technical programs to provide strategic/tactical communications (including jamming, monitoring and satellite systems) in USA, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and India.
- KTC members have been involved in modeling and commercialization of advanced novel materials. These activities have been in advanced ceramics and ceramic precursors (carbides and oxides), in uses of interlayer materials to allow dissimilar materials to be joined, and in fuels (solid, liquid, and gas) derived from waste products. Work has also been undertaken in novel proppants and fracing materials for use in the oil and gas industry. Patents have been filed or issued in all these areas.
- KTC has participated in artificial intelligence programs for handling highly sensitive and classified data (text, auditory and visual) – ranging from hypervelocity impact modelling codes to search bots to high speed vector analysis and reprogramming. Much of the work has resulted in patents; some of the work remains classified.
